YOU ASKED US TO PRAY FOR ALL MEN WITH ALL FORMS OF PRAYERS AND REQUESTS AS WE INTERCEDE WITH INTENSE PASSION. WE PRAY FOR EVERY POLITICAL LEADER AND REPRESENTATIVE SO WE WILL BE ABLE TO LIVE A TRANQUIL, UNDISTURBED LIFE AS WE WORSHIP THE AWE-INSPIRING GUARD WITH PURE HEART. PRESENTER AND HIS FAMILY. >> MR. CHAIR AND COMMISSIONERS THANK YOU FOR HAVING ME APPEAR TODAY IT IS A PRIVILEGE AND AN HONOR THAT GET A CHANCE TO REDUCE HIS YOUNG MAN AND HIS FAMILY. IF THE FAMILY WOULD COME ON A PLEASE. THIS IS HIS MOM AND HIS DAD.

WHILE THEY COMING UP I'D LIKE TO HAVE IT IN THE IMMEDIATE SHORT BIO ON KING BEDFORD. BY THE WAY THIS YOUNG MAN IS NOT SHY THIS IS MY QUARTERBACK AT PEDRO HE IS NOT SHY.

KING BEDFORD WAS BORN IN SAINT AUGUSTINE FLORIDA TO PARENTS BRANDON AND TONY, AND AS SHE CAN BEDFORD IN 2,003.

HE WAS DELIVERED BY THE LATE GREAT DR. JOYNER WHO A LOT OF YOU KNOW HERE WHO WAS ONE OF OUR FINEST DOCTORS AT THE FLAGLER HOSPITAL IN ST. JOHN'S COUNTY. KING GIVEN HIS MOTHER'S MAIDEN NAME IS A SYMBOL OF HONOR BY HIS FATHER, HE ATTENDED PRIMARY SCHOOL AT DR. JAMES A LONG ELEMENTARY AND PUTNAM COUNTY.

WHERE HE EXCELLED ACADEMICALLY, AND OUT THE OPEN TUNING PARTICIPATE IN THE CAMBRIDGE PROGRAM.

FOR STUDENTS THAT EXHIBIT EXIT ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE.

AFTER HIS FAMILY MOVED TO ELTON FLORIDA, KING TRANSITIONED HIS EDUCATION AT ROGERS MIDDLE SCHOOL.

IN ST. JOHN'S COUNTY. HE JOINED THE GAMBLE ROGERS FOOTBALL TEAM AND ULTIMATELY LEAD THE STINGRAYS TO THAT FIRST MIDDLE SCHOOL CHAMPIONSHIP FROM THE QUARTERBACK POSITION.

LATER, HE WILL BE INTO DUCTED INTO THE FIRST CLASS OF MIDDLE SCHOOL HALL OF FAME FOOTBALL PLAYERS.

KING CONTINUES TO FURTHER HIS EDUCATION AT PAGE HERNANDEZ HIGH SCHOOL. PREDATORS SPINNING IN THE NATIONAL BACCARAT PROGRAM WHERE HE MAINTAINS A 4.6 GRADE.AVERAGE. COMPLEMENTARY TO HIS ACCOMACK SUCCESS. HE IS ALSO SUSTAINED A STELLAR ATHLETIC CAREER AS A FOUR YEAR STARTED, INCLUDING FIRST TEAM ALL STATE HONORS, THIRDS TO A AWLS TEAM HONORS AND CO- DISTRICT PLAYER THE YEAR. KING IS CURRENTLY THE ONLY QUARTERBACK IN PAGE HERNANDEZ HISTORY TO DEFEAT SAINT AUGUSTINE HIGH SCHOOL TO MR. WALTER.

HE WAS THE FIRST TO LEAD HIS TEAM TO A DISTRICT CHAMPIONSHIP.

HOWEVER, HIS GREATEST ATTRIBUTE, IS NOT IN HIS ACADEMIC AND ATHLETIC ABILITY.

IT IS SIMPLY IN THE REFLECTION OF HIS DAILY LIFESTYLE AND SUBMISSION TO JESUS CHRIST. AS KING OF KINGS.

KING WAS NAMED KING, SO HE MAY NEVER FORGET THE TRUTH IN THE SCRIPTURE THAT IDENTIFIES THE LORD OF KING OF KINGS.

FOUND IN ONE TIMOTHY 615. HE UNDERSTANDS THAT IT'S LONG AS HE STAYS COMMITTED TO OUR LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST, HE CAN'T RAIN AS A KING, EVEN IN LIFE'S CIRCUMSTANCES AND ANSWER THE QUESTION WHO ARE THOSE THINGS? BY EMPATHETICALLY SAYING WE ARE AND ENCOURAGE OTHERS TO FOLLOW THE TRUE LEADER. WE INTRODUCED TO SOME AND PRESENT TO OTHERS KING ANTHONY BEDFORD, WHO IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHEN THE ST. THESE WORDS WERE DEMONSTRATED BY A MAN, WHO LIVED HIS LIFE TO INSHORE, THAT ALL WOULD HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO BE FREE.

REGARDLESS OF THE COLOR, RELIGION, OR GENDER.

THESE WORDS WERE BIRTHED FROM THE VERY SOUL OF ONE OF THE GREATEST CIVIL RIGHTS LEADERS TO EVER LIVE.

DR. MARTIN LUTHER KING JR. THROUGH THIS QUOTE HE EMPHASIZED FREEDOM IS NOT AN INDIVIDUAL MATTER BUT THE FREEDOM OF THE INDIVIDUAL IS BASED UPON THE FREEDOM OF THE COLLECTIVE WHOLE.

WE TRULY CANNOT BE FREE FROM OUR OWN OPPRESSION TO OUR BROTHER OR SISTER, AS FREE FROM THEIR OPPRESSION.

IT OUR RESPONSIBILITY TO FREE THEM, EVEN IF OUR BROTHER OR SISTER IS THE OPPRESSOR. HOWEVER, HOW CAN I FREE MY BROTHER, HOW CAN I FREE MY SISTER? WHAT IS FREEDOM EVEN BEGIN? FREEDOM, BEGINS IN THE HEART, AND TO BE FREE IN THE HEART, AND TO FREE THE HEART OF ANOTHER, WE MUST LOVE, WE MUST LOVE ONE ANOTHER WITH AGAPE LOVE.

THAT IS UNCONCERNED WITH THYSELF AND CONCERNED WITH THE GREATEST GOOD OF ANOTHER. WHEN WE UNSELFISHLY SEEK THE BEST FOR OTHERS, DESPITE THEIR DIFFERENCES WE HAVE SET OURSELVES FREE FROM SELFISHNESS, AND HATE.

WE DON'T SEE THEM FOR THE COLOR OF THE SKIN, THE GOD THEY SERVE, OR EVEN THE AGENDA THAT THEY IDENTIFY AS.

BUT WE SEE THEM FOR THE HUMAN THAT THEY ARE, AND WE GIVE THEM WHAT EVERY HUMAN BEING NEEDS. THE LOVE OF GOD.

DR. KING SAID WHEN YOU RISE TO ON THIS LEVEL, YOU BEGIN TO LOVE MEANT NOT BECAUSE THEY ARE LIKABLE BUT BECAUSE GOD LOVES THEM. HOWEVER, WHAT ABOUT THOSE THAT ARE LOOKING TO MENTALLY ABUSE US, OVER STEERING US DOWN, AND NEVER WANTING TO SEE US SUCCEED. DO THEY DESERVE LOVE? DO THEY DESERVE FREEDOM? WHEN THIS THOUGHT BOMBARDS OUR MIND WE MUST ALLOW DR. KING'S WORDS TO RAIN THROUGH OUR HEIRS AND PENETRATE OUR VERY SOULS. NO ONE IS FREE.

UNTIL WE ARE ALL FREE. EVEN WHEN SOMEONE HATES US WITHOUT CAUSE, WE MUST REALIZE THAT THEY ARE NOT FREE IN THEIR OWN HEART. HOWEVER, WE MUST GO DEEPER TO UNDERSTAND WHERE THEY ARE NOT FREE.

WE MUST MAKE IT OUR PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY TO SET THEM FREE FROM THEIR HATE, BY CHOOSING TO FORGIVE THEM FOR IT.

FORGIVENESS SHOWS THAT DESPITE BEING MISTREATED, WE STILL CARE FOR THE WELL-BEING OF OUR OPPRESSOR.

AND DESIRED TO SEE THEM RELEASE FROM EIGHT THAT OPPRESSES THEM.

THIS DEMONSTRATION OF LOVE DOES NOT MAKE ANY LOGICAL SENSE, AS INCOMPREHENSIBLE TO THE HUMAN MIND.

HOWEVER, IT IS THIS DEMONSTRATION OF LOVE THAT CAN FREE SOMEONE ELSE ASIDE. BRINGING LIGHT TO THEIR ETERNAL DARKNESS AND IS THE ONLY THING THAT CAN TURN AN ENEMY INTO A FRIEND. NEVERTHELESS, EVEN THOUGH FREEDOM BEGINS IN THE HEART, IT IS MAINTAINED THROUGH THE MIND.

YOU MAY BE FREE IN OUR HEART, BUT OUR MIND GIVES US THE POWER TO OPERATE IN OUR FREEDOM. WHEN WE OPERATE IN OUR FREEDOM,

WE ARE NOT HELD BACK AND ABLE TO ELEVATE TO OUR HIGHEST POTENTIAL. INSTEAD, WE CAN BECOME ALL THAT WE ARE DESTINED TO BE, WITHOUT ANY RESTRAINT OR HINDRANCES.

THE MIND CAN BE OUR GREATEST WEAPON, BUT OFTEN IS THE GREATEST BATTLEFIELD THAT MANY FIND THEMSELVES LOST AND DEFEATED. HOWEVER, EDUCATION CAN FREE OUR MINDS. GIVING US THE POWER TO THINK, SPEAK, AND ACT APPROPRIATELY. HELPING US TO ARTICULATE, OUR HEARTS INNERMOST DREAMS, AND DESIRES.

WE MUST SEEK TO BE EDUCATED, AND IF WE ARE ALREADY EDUCATED WE MUST EDUCATE EACH OTHER, RATHER THAN WITHHOLDING THE PRECIOUS KNOWLEDGE THAT WE POSSESS. AS A HUMAN RACE, WE CANNOT STRICTLY EDUCATE ONE GROUP OF PEOPLE AND NOT EDUCATE ANOTHER.

BECAUSE THIS WILL PRODUCE A RIPPLE EFFECT ON EVERYONE.

THE GROWTH OF HUMANKIND IS BASED UPON THE EDUCATION OF ALL PEOPLE, ALL RACES, ALL DIVERSE BACKGROUND.

EDUCATION ONLY HAS A CAPACITY TO FEED THE MIND OF ONE BUT THE POWER TO FREE THE WORLD. THUS WE MUST SET ASIDE OUR DIFFERENCES, AND STAND SIDE BY SIDE TO LOVE AND EDUCATE ONE ANOTHER, TO ENSURE THE FREEDOM OF ALL PEOPLE.

WHERE AS ELABORATE LOVERS MONTH AND ANNUAL CELEBRATION IN FEBRUARY, SHOWCASES THE IMPORTANCE OF LIBRARIES, OF ALL TYPES, AND ENCOURAGES THE RECOGNITION OF THE ROAD LIBRARY'S PLATE AND KEEP OUR COMMUNITIES CONNECTED. AND WHEREAS THE LIBRARY SUPPORTED COMPETITIVE WORKFORCE, WITH BASIC LITERACY PROGRAMS, COMPUTERS, AND OTHER RESOURCES TO HELP CHILDREN AND ADULTS LEARN TO FIND EVALUATE, AND USE INFORMATION THAT THEY NEED FOR THEIR JOBS, HEALTH, EDUCATION AND OTHER NEEDS.

JOHN'S CUB PUBLIC LIBRARY SYSTEM REMAINS DEDICATED TO PROVIDING ACCESS TO TECHNOLOGY, PROGRAMMING AND RESOURCES, WHICH MEET THE EDUCATIONAL INFORMATIONAL, RECREATIONAL, AND CULTURAL NEEDS OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC.

WHERE AS THE ST. JOHN'S COUNTY PUBLIC LIBRARY SYSTEM CONTINUES TO MAINTAIN AND ENHANCE SERVICES, GIVING RESIDENTS AND VISITORS A MULTITUDE OF OPTIONS, TO ENJOY THE LIBRARY AT ANY T TIME, INCLUDING OFFERING DIGIT ACCESS TO BOOKS, PROGRAMMING AND DATA PURPOSES AND ENCOURAGES A LONG TIME AND NEW USERS, TO EXPLORE THE VARIETY OF RESOURCES THE LIBRARY OFFICE.

SPECIAL LIBRARIES WHICH COULD BE ALL SORTS OF THINGS, RELATED TO MUSEUMS. 5,150, THERE ARE 239 ARMED FORCES LIBRARIES.

867 GOVERNMENT LIBRARIES. THAT TOTALS A HUNDRED AND 16,000 JUST TO THE UNITED STATES. EACH YEAR THE AMERICAN LIBRARY ASSOCIATION SPONSORS THE I LOVE MY LIBRARY AND AWARD, WHICH IS A COMMUNITY AWARD WHERE MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY AND THE CITIZENS NOMINATE THEIR LOCAL LIBRARIANS ACROSS THE COUNTRY FOR THE IMPACT OF THE COMMUNITY. OVER THE PAST YEAR WE'VE HAD 1300 NOMINATIONS ACROSS THE COUNTRY.

FOR THOSE CAME FROM ST. JOHN'S COUNTY.

IN THE PERSONS OF ANGEL BAYER, ANDY, ALEX PHILLIPS AND BRAD PELTZ. SO IT IS TIME TO MOVE THE SHERIFF'S OFFICE TO A BETTER LOCATION UNDER ONE ROOF WHERE THE OPERATIONS AND CRIMINAL OPERATIONS DIVISIONS, AND ARE EVIDENCE SECTIONS. IT GIVES US FUTURE GROWTH OF PROPERTY ACROSS THE STREET AS SOMEDAY DOWN THE ROAD WE ARE GOING TO HAVE TO RESPIN THAT JAIL.

At the direction of its Board of Directors, the Northeast Florida Regional Council will be conducting an Educational Summit on Overdoses (focusing on opioids/fentanyl). The summit will bring together key stakeholders and policy makers to discuss overdose related data in Northeast Florida. The summit will highlight several successful programs that have been implemented by counties in the Region, in hopes they can be replicated in other communities. The focus will be on sharing best practices, understanding needs, and identifying gaps as we start the conversation on a regional level. The summit will include information from behavioral and mental health facilities, hospitals, health departments, the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), the National District Attorneys Association, local fire rescue departments, law enforcement and others. This educational summit will be held at World Golf Village in St. Augustine, FL on Thursday, March 31, 2022. More details are to follow, and a save the date flyer for the event is attached. YES WE ARE SEEING THE DEATHS COME FROM AND PEOPLE GETTING KILLED AS A RESULT OF THESE SPECIFIC SUBSTANCES, BUT THERE IS A LARGER ISSUE HERE. WHICH IS ADDICTION.

WE'VE SEEN ADDICTIVE QUALITIES AND INCREASE IN THE PAST FEW YEARS AND IS SOMETHING THAT WE REALLY THOUGHT WE SHOULD ADDRESS HEAD ON. AS A RESULT OF THIS WILL GET TO THIS EDUCATIONAL SUMMIT. HELD ON MARCH 31 HELD IN ST. JOHN'S COUNTY WORLD GOLF VILLAGE.

WE ARE TALKING NEUROSCIENCE OF THE BRAIN AND WHAT IS GOING ON CHEMICALLY. BUT THEN IN NORTHEAST FLORIDA WE HAVE A NUMBER OF COUNTIES DOING SOME SORT OF A PROJECT ADDRESS THE ISSUE. ONE OF THOSE PROJECTS IS HOW ARE THEY FUNDED? HOW ARE THEY COMING, WHAT CHALLENGES DO THEY SEE SO WE REALLY WANT TO HIGHLIGT THOSE PROJECTS. AS WELL AS WHAT ARE OUR LAW ENFORCEMENT PARTNERS AND FIRST RESPONDERS AND FIRE RESCUE DEPARTMENTS WHAT DO THEY SEE WHEN THEY RESPOND TO THESE CALLS? WHAT DO THEY SEE EVERY DAY ON THEIR DAILY JOB? WHY ARE WE DOING THIS? WELL IN A 2021 SURVEY, 41 MILLION AMERICANS AGES 12 AND OVER HAD A SUBSTANCE ABUSE DISORDER.

OF THOSE 41 MILLION AMERICANS ONLY 4 MILLION SOUGHT TREATMENT.

YOU CAN KINDA INFER OF THOSE PEOPLE THAT DID NOT GET SPECIALIZED TREATMENT, THERE IS PROBABLY THREE GROUPS CONTAINED IN THAT. THERE IS THE GROUP THAT IS NOT READY FOR RECOVERY, THERE IS THE GROUP THAT DOES NOT HAVE ACCESS TO SPECIFIC PROGRAMS OR PROJECTS TO HELP THEM.

OR, THERE IS THAT OTHER GROUP THAT MAY NOT BE AWARE OF IT OWED JUST DO NOT HAVE IT AVAILABLE. SO WE REALLY WANT TO ADDRESS THE ISSUE HEAD ON. BETWEEN 2018-2,019TH THERE WERE 2,000 PEOPLE IN NORTHEAST FLORIDA THAT NEEDED 911 MEDICAL SERVICE. AS YOU ALL KNOW EVERY TIME 91 IS CALLED EACH RESCUE UNIT, THAT IS A COST.

AND THAT IS A COST THAT THE COUNTIES ARE INCURRING.

I DID PURPOSELY LEAVE THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE OUT OF THIS FOR THE SAKE OF SOMETIMES AND A LOT OF OTHER COMMUNITIES, THINGS THAT HAPPEN IN THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE OVERSHADOW WHAT IS GOING ON OUTSIDE THE CITY OF JACKSONVILLE.

WHEN YOU ADD THEM INTO THIS THE NUMBER GOES UP TO OVER 4,000 INDIVIDUALS IN NORTHEAST FLORIDA ALONE.

THE METHODOLOGY AND WHY WE ARE DOING THIS WITH STAFF WITH THE WAY THE STAFF ADDRESS THE ISSUE BUT IT DOWN INTO THESE THREE TOPICS. THE BEHAVIORAL MENTAL HEALTH SIDE WHAT IS ADDICTION? THE FUNDING SOURCES IMPORTANT, WHAT OTHER PROJECTS OUT THERE? HOW ARE THEY FUNDED? HOW CAN WE GET MORE OF THAT FUNDING INTO THE REGION? WHAT GRADES MAY BE AVAILABLE? BUT ALSO WHAT IS JUST FREE, IT IS JUST A SOCIETAL AND MINDSET CHANGE OF HOW WE ADDRESS THIS ISSUE.

SO WE ARE GOING TO TALK ABOUT SOME OF THOSE THINGS.

JUST TO HIGHLIGHT A FEW OF THESE SUCCESSFUL PROJECTS THAT WE TALKED ABOUT, THESE WILL BE SOME OF THE PROJECTS SAVE LIVES, MOST OF YOU HEARD IT OUT OF JACKSONVILLE IT'S MATCHING PEERS WITH INDIVIDUALS IN THE HOSPITAL WHEN THEY COME TO THE HOSPITAL WITH AN OVERDOSE. BUT THEN THERE IS ALSO SOME OTHER THINGS. AND WE HAVE TWO HOSPITAL SYSTEMS THAT WILL ALSO COME INTO SAY HOW THE HOSPITAL SYSTEM AS LEARNED AND CHANGE THEIR PRESCRIPTION PRACTICES AS WE BECOME MORE KNOWLEDGEABLE WITH THE SUBSTANCES.

OVERDOSE TWO ACTION IS A STATISTICAL GROUP, THEY WERE KIND ENOUGH TO PROVIDE ME WITH STATISTICS AND WHAT THIS IS FOR ST. JOHN'S COUNTY. LOOKING AT 2019, COMPARED TO 2021, INDIVIDUALS THAT WENT TO AN EMERGENCY ROOM WITH ZIP CODE DATA WHEN THEY PROVIDED INFORMATION, WHO WENT TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM AS A RESULT OF AN OVERDOSE OR CONSUMING A SUBSTANCE? SO THESE THREE ZIP CODES STOOD OUT. 32034, FROM 2019-2021, PSALM 198% INCREASE. 32097, SAW A 70% INCREASE, 32046 HUNDRED AND 82%. INDIVIDUAL 75 YEARS AND OLDER CZAR IN AN INCREASE OF 621%. 55-74258%, AND 35-54 -YEAR-OLDS SEEING 66%. BREAKING THAT DOWN JUST A LITTLE BIT FURTHER, MAY ALSO SAW AN INCREASE OF OVER 106% AND FEMALES SAW AN INCREASE OF HUNDRED AND 17%.

SO IT IS AN ISSUE THAT TOUCHES ALL ASPECTS OF SOCIETY, ALL OF OUR ZIP CODES AND ALL OF THE INDIVIDUALS THAT RESIDE HERE IN FLORIDA. THESE WILL BE SOME OF THE SPEAKERS THAT YOU WILL HEAR FROM THAT DAY.

On January 18, 2022, the St. Johns County Board of County Commissioners adopted Resolution 2022-25, associated with the South Ponte Vedra Beach Dune Restoration Project, awarding a contract for Bid No. 22-32 contingent upon approved financing and directing the County’s financing team to prepare the loan documentation necessary to finance the South Ponte Vedra/Serenata Beach Dune Restoration Project, to be brought back for BCC consideration on February 15, 2022. The agenda item presents the prepared financing, including the Authorizing Resolution, TD Bank proposal and the Loan Agreement. If approved, a Tourist Development Fund Category 5 reserve was established, as part of the adopted FY 2022 Budget, for the purpose of participating in the annual debt service. SO YOU SHOULD TAKE COMFORT IN KNOWING THAT.

THE HIGH CREDIT RATINGS THAT COUNTY MAINTAINS RC HELPS WITH THE PROCESS. WE REVIEWED THE PROPOSALS WITH YOUR STAFF, THIS CLOCK STAFF, THE COUNTY ATTORNEY'S OFFICE, TO DETERMINE THAT TD BANK PROVIDED THE BEST OPTION FOR FINANCING.

BASED ON THEIR MOST ATTRACTIVE INTEREST RATES AND TERMS AVAILABLE. WE WERE ABLE TO FOLLOW IN YOUR DIRECTION ON JANUARY 18, ACTUALLY LOCK AND THE TAXABLE INTEREST RATE OF 2.24%. AND THAT IS FIXED FOR THE ENTIRE TERM OF THE FINANCING. AGAIN, THESE BONDS WILL BE PAID OFF BY OCTOBER 1 OF 2031. AND ANOTHER IMPORTANT FEATURE IS THAT THEY ARE ABLE TO BE PREPAID AT ANY TIME WITHOUT PENALTY.

SO THE EXTENT OTHER FUNDS BECOME AVAILABLE FOR THE PYROGENIC IT CAN BE PAID DOWN FOR REDUCED DEBT COSTS MOVING FORWARD.

INCLUDED ON THE PRIOR BEACH FINANCING THAT WE DID, AND DID SO ON THIS ONE AS WELL JUST TO GIVE YOU THE ULTIMATE FLEXIBILITY OF MOVING FORWARD. A request to remove approximately 1.31 acres, change the overall layout of the project on the northern side, remove a planned shared access point, relocate the planned RV/Boat Storage area, add commercial square footage, and change lot layout. The property is located at 3301 and 3303 Coastal Highway in the Vilano Beach area. The Planning and Zoning Agency recommended approval with a 5-1 vote at its December 16, 2021 regular meeting. The Agency discussed the types of commercial that may occur in the PUD and the elevation of the property in relation to SR A1A and the adjacent County Park. The applicant responded that the type of uses will be limited by the size of the proposed building and parking. The applicant proffered that one-half of the building will be used as a market and associated related activities (such as packaged and preprepared foods, vegetables, food products for meals, local coffee, gallery and display space for local artists) and the second one-half of the building will be used for professional offices (which may include uses such as mail and package services, photography studio, and/or other personal services). GIVEN CHANGES IN STATE LAW. WE HAVE AN AMENDMENT TO THE IMPACT THESE STATUES RECENTLY. FOLLOWING THE 25TH GROWTH MANAGEMENT WORKSHOP IN THE BCC MEETING, WE WERE DIRECTED TO REVIEW CURRENT COUNTY INFRASTRUCTURE NEEDS AND PROVIDE A RECOMMENDED LIST OF PROJECTS THAT WOULD BE FUNDED SHOULD THIS BOARD AND THE COMMUNITY ULTIMATELY DECIDE TO IMPOSE A 1% INFRASTRUCTURE SURTAX.

THIS COULD BE PLACED ON NOVEMBEM THE VOTERS TO DECIDE.

ONE OF THE REASONS OF LOOKING AT THE TIMELINE IS OBVIOULY THERE IS LESS BECAUSE WHEN YOU PUT IT ON EIGHT NORMALLY SCHEDULED ELECTION. AND THIS INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECT WILL FALL EXCLUSIVELY INTO FOUR CATEGORIES ROAD INCH AND LIBRARIES. ALL OF THESE THINGS ARE DEEMED INFRASTRUCTURE UNDER THE FLORIDA STATUTE WHICH I WILL SHOW YOU ATTEND THE PRESENTATION. I THINK WHAT IS MOST IMPORTANT AND WHAT MOST PEOPLE WANT TO KNOW IS PART OF THIS DISCUSSION.

IS WHAT DOLLARS WOULD GO WHERE? BASED ON WHERE STAFF HAS IDENTIFIED TO THIS POINT. THERE IS A COUPLE OF THINGS I

WITH A COUPLE OF CAVEATS COASTAL MANAGEMENT IS NOT ON THE LIST, BUT WE ALL KNOW, THAT IS A CIP THAT IS ONGOING ACROSS THE COUNTY.

ADDITIONALLY I THINK THERE IS A FIRE STATION, THAT IS ON THAT THAT IS NOT IN THE CIP LIST BUT IT WAS IDENTIFIED IN THE MASTER PLAN. AS YOU ALL HEARD I WANT TO SEE BACK IN OCTOBER AND NOVEMBER AND ALSO DIRECTED THE FIRE DEPARTMENT TO COME BACK WITH A PLAN ON HOW TO ADDRESS THEIR NEEDS. SO THAT IS CAPTURED IN THE AIR ALTHOUGH IT IS NOT ORIGINALLY IN THE CIP PLAN.

BUT QUICKLY, LOOKING THROUGH HERE, THIS IS ROUGHLY THE $500 MILLION, 220 MILLION IS ROADWAY IMPROVEMENTS.
